Then again, I've been using it since 2005.<br><br>Facebook helped me get my husbands attention via a Mobile Upload (smoke signal) when I was stuck on an icy hill, unable to drive anywhere (when he couldn't hear his cell phone ringing!). :) Other than that, it's been a great tool for keeping up with folks from several different points in my life. While I sometimes complain about FB, deep down I don't know what I'd do without it. :) Not surprised about 500 million folks either. Probably more surprised that it took this long? I do however like the idea behind stories. It's a great brand building effort on the part of Facebook to get people to share how their service has helped them in everyday situations. Builds more communication and brand loyalty behind Facebook (which is necessary seeing how a recent report put their customer satisfaction level below airlines).
