Socialbakers (which is a great site for Facebook stats) has pulled together a list of the top 10 brand pages on Facebook. While managing Facebook pages for brands over the past couple of years, I’ve kept a close-eye on this list to see which brands crack the top 10 and how their position changes over time. For the first time, all the brands on this list are now over the 10 million fan mark. (For reference, I blogged about Starbucks reaching 10 million fans back in July)
Coca-Cola surpassed Starbucks two months ago and now is the #1 brand on Facebook in terms of total fan count with almost 22 million fans. Starbucks, with a little over than 19 million fans, held the top spot for the longest time, but doesn’t seem to be growing nearly as fast as the Coke page. The Coke and Disney Facebook pages have see the largest increase in fans over the past 6 months.
