This Saturday, April 16, is the second annual International 4sqDay. Foursquare Day is actually a community-driven event that originated last year in Tampa. There are many ways to participate in 4sqDay, including parties, check-in specials, meetups, etc. If you’re interested in collecting foursquare badges, there will be a unique badge available for users who check-in on 4sqDay.
Here in Atlanta (which is a huge foursquare city), there will be a party and several check-in specials located around the city. For all the details on 4sqDay in Atlanta, check out the 4sqatl blog. Last year I was able to take advantage of a 4sqDay special at Spice Market and we even interviewed them about their foursquare special, read the recap here.
This year’s 4sqDay looks like it will be a larger event than it was last year. The mayor of New York actually declared 4/16 as foursquare day.
Will you be participating in 4sqDay?
