I love discovering new apps that serve a purpose and make life easier. LookTel has created a Money Reader app is that verbally identifies the denominations of dollars when placed in front of the camera. This app is a great tool for the blind and visually impaired.
Currency in the US is virtually indistinguishable by touch. Other countries print currency on different sizes and shapes that help people with sight problems identify the different denominations. With the LookTel app, blind people in the US will be able to correctly identify the value of their dollars.
