Foursquare reaches 10 million users

Foursquare reached a major milestone:  10 million members. So much for the idea of Facebook Places killing Foursquare. Foursquare is now the first location-based social network to reach 10 million users. To celebrate the occasion, they put together an infographic to illustrate their impressive growth over the past couple of years. If you can, then you’re in the minority based on a recent study conducted by IPG Media Lab and YuMe. The small scale study found that 60 percent of television watchers play with their cell phones while watching TV.
