The Facebook iPhone app [iTunes link] just got better. Facebook for iPhone 3.1 went live in the iTunes application directory yesterday. The new version includes two new features: 1) Address Book Syncing & 2) Push Notifications. Push Notifications As soon as you update the app to version 3.1, you’ll be asked for permission to receive notifications.
