Prepare for more emails from Twitter
Twitter posted a Tweet notifying users that they will be sending out email notifications when one of your followers retweet or favorite one of your tweets. Previously, Twitter only emailed you when you received new followers or a direct message. If you’re a heavy Twitter user – receiving an email notification each time you were retweeted could become annoying rather quickly.
