Facebook adds check-ins to events
Facebook users will soon be able to check-in to Facebook Events they’re attending. When users are in proximity to the address of an Event, a “Check In” button will appear and when users check in it publishes a news feed story (e.g., Josh is at Housewarming Party). The new feature currently works on touch.facebook.com site and will soon be available through the Facebook for iPhone app. Surprising that this feature was not made available much sooner.
