Zynga, the creator of  FarmVille and Mafia Wars,  is rolling out a rewards program, called RewardVille. RewardVille will work like this:  Each time you play a participating Zynga game, you’ll earn Zynga Points (zPoints) and increase your Zynga Level (zLevel). At every zLevel, you’ll earn Zynga Coins (zCoins) to use on free, exclusive in-game items in RewardVille. The rewards program is in beta and will roll-out to a small group of users. Brands flocking to FarmVille, Social Games

With over 50 million monthly active users, it was only a matter of time before brands started integrating within FarmVille. Within the past month, there have been two branded promotions within the farming app: Farmers Insurance & McDonald’s. A few weeks ago, Farmers Insurance kicked off a promotion on FarmVille that offered players 10 days of wither protection for free in return for displaying the Farmers Insurance blimp on their farm. Can you believe that FarmVille continues to be the most popular game on Facebook? FarmVille currently has around 60 million monthly active users. Back in February, FarmVille had a total of 83 million users, so it has seen a decline over the past few months, but it’s still maintained the top spot among games.
