I didn’t think this day would ever arrive, but finally, Facebook has released its iPad app. After playing around with the app, it’s a much improved experience than using the Safari browser, especially scrolling through the News Feed and viewing photos.  Facebook for iPad is now available for download in the App Store.

What’s your favorite iPad app?

According to Macstories, the iPad App Store now has over 100,000 apps. This is an impressive milestone since the iPad first launched less than a year and a half ago in April of 2010. This got me thinking about all the apps that I’ve downloaded on my iPad since last April. Currently, I have around 60 apps total on my iPad (displaying on 3 screens). After using the Safari browser to access Facebook on my iPad, I finally got tired of it and purchased the Friendly Plus for Facebook app. It was only $0.99 (there is now a free version in the App Store) and it works great. See video below. The developer of the app, Oecoway, recently reported that the app has been...

Superyacht + iPad = Big Pimpin’

There is an app for everything, even one that can control a yacht. A German luxury yacht firm created an iPad app that provides passengers control of everything but  steering the boat (although wouldn’t that be fun). The iPad app allows passengers on board superyacht to control climate and entertainment. The captain of the superyacht hands each guest their own iPad when they board, which they get to keep for the duration of the trip. “Solemates” is the first yacht to carry the technology, which is currently being used by P. Diddy at a whopping $850,000 / week. Man, if I...
