Researchers at Carnegie Mellon University believe there may be a Facebook-like network in your mind. Basically, there is a group of highly active neurons within your brain that behave much like people in social networks. These highly active neurons do most of the heavy lifting, giving and receiving more information than the rest of the neurons in their network.
