NYC launches Meeting Place Facebook app for emergencies
I love running across new Facebook applications, especially ones that are creative and also serve a useful purpose. For example, New York City’s Office of Emergency Management recently launched the “My Meeting Place” app that offers a list of meeting places that families and friends can use to reunite in case of an emergency. The app allows you to enter your address to find the 9 meeting places closest to you.
