TweetDeck launches Deck.ly, let’s you tweet longer than 140 characters
TweetDeck has launched a new service called Deck.ly that will allow you to send messages of unlimited length. Your followers that use TweetDeck will be able to read these messages in full within the TweetDeck app. If your followers are using Twitter.com or another Twitter client, they’ll see a truncated version of your tweet along with a URL that leads to the full message. I’m not sure that I’m a big fan of services that let you tweet longer. I like the challenge of keeping tweets under the 140 character limit.
